Meet the Team

Ian is a chartered surveyor with over 40 years experience in commercial property providing specialist strategic and investment advice on acquisitions and disposals to a wide client base within the property sector.

Ian has had a number of advisory roles which include:-

• Former Head of Real Estate at merchant bank Salamanca Group advising private clients on Central London investments.
• Former Head of Property at Host Capital who are an independent Authorised Corporate Director authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority.
• Former consultant to private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw.
• Advisor to Brookdale Group acquiring and asset managing their UK portfolio which grew to over £500 million.

Before joining Pembrey, Martin worked for Salamanca Group in the real estate department helping offshore clients to acquire real estate assets in Central London.

Martin has also experience of investment and asset management at AEW Europe (London office) where he was working on office, retail and logistics deals across Europe. Before joining AEW Europe, Martin worked for Quinlan Private Golub in Prague where he worked on residential and office developments across the CEE region.

Martin has an MBA degree from DePaul University, Chicago and also speaks Slovak and Czech.

Prior to Pembrey Stuart lead the asset management team at Square Metre in a joint venture with Goldman Sachs. He has over 40 years experience in commercial property dealing with a broad range of real estate asset classes. He is a Chartered Surveyor, holds The Advanced Award in Expert Witness Evidence and has succesfully represented clients at The First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
